For as long as I can remember, I've been an avid gamer. My earliest memories from around age 4 are of playing Super Mario Bros on the SNES, my first console. Since then, I've acquired several consoles and handhelds, which have occupied many thousands of hours of my time. Nintendo is the only brand I buy because the vast majority of games on Sony or Microsoft platforms just don't interest me. There have been some I've seen in recent years that are intriguing, but not worth the hundreds of dollars to pick up a new console for just a few games, especially when I'm financially unstable.
For the most part, I'd say that the most impactful platforms for me have been the GBA and the Gamecube. I have so many games for both of them, and I've spent so much time playing them.
Despite the direction that some of the most recent games have gone, I would be lying if I said any series other than Fire Emblem was my favorite. Interesting characters, strategy, and grinding combine to make something that I really enjoy. I just wish Kouhei Maeda would fuck off forever.
Nowadays, I don't have the money (for newer games) or energy (for games I already own) to play much, so I usually just watch streams of games that interest me.
Electronic music is my favorite genre at this point in time and has been for about 5 years now. Pop and rock are also good, but I don't listen to them nearly as much.
I'm also quite fond of instrumental versions of songs, like Get Low, Glorious, and Sweet Nothing.
I used to be really into anime around 2009-2011 or so and then I had a bit of a resurgence in 2013-2014. Since then, I've been into just one series.
I wasn't sure if I'd like MP100 when I first heard about it, but several of my friends were into it and said it was fine so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the cast. Shigeo and Ritsu are my good sons and I love them so much. Reigen's exactly the kind of character I find annoying but he has some rights since he's so important to Shigeo.
I started watching the anime while season 2 was airing and caught up pretty quickly once I got into it. I enjoyed it so much that I also read the entirety of the manga before season 2 had even finished airing. Aside from some minor things, I don't have any complaints and greatly enjoyed it.
Excluding MP100, I pretty much mcfucking hate every series out there. Anime is full of so many bad tropes that I absolutely despise.
